Newborn photography is an experience like none other. I start building a relationship with my clients at first contact. Your new baby is the most precious thing in your life, and I take great pride and care with each newborn that I photograph. I have photographed hundreds of newborns and take newborn safety very seriously. After your session I will handpick and extensively edit each image that will be put in front of you to ensure that you walk away with timeless art of your new little one.

BOOKING YOUR NEWBORN SESSION: The best time to book your newborn session is during your 5th or 6th month of pregnancy (or earlier) to ensure I’m available when your little bundle of joy arrives. Your session will take place at my photography studio. You will have a place to hang out and relax, light snacks will be provided as well. The best time to photograph your newborn is before 2 weeks of age while they are still in that sleepy and curly stage. After two weeks of age, they tend to be disturbed while sleeping. They can also become colicky or baby acne can start to flare. We pick a tentative date based off your due date and adjust if needed. My main objective is to provide a relaxing experience for my clients. After session prep is done and you arrive at the studio be prepared to hand that sweet baby to me and just relax for the remainder of the session.

SIBLINGS/FAMILY: I welcome sibling/family shots during a newborn session. We typically schedule sibling shots be taken at the beginning or the end of the session as the session duration is a few hours and siblings can become bored. Family & Sibling photos are quick and painless. This portion of the session typically takes about 20 minutes. I will send over a style guide to help coordinate your outfits for the session! I will have something for baby, so don't worry about that.

PROPS: I supply all of the props and adorable accessories, so no need to stress about buying things just for your newborn session. However, I welcome any props you may want to incorporate. Before the session you will fill out a detailed questionnaire so that everything is styled and ready to go when you arrive. No work on your part at all!
