I like to keep things pretty simple, my goal is to capture emotion and connection with each of my family sessions. I know how difficult it can be to just get your children out the door, let alone get everyone dressed, cleaned, and ready for family photos. I want clients to have fun and be able to provide a stress free experience for each and every one of you! 

I provide styling help along the way. My clients have access to a website to help coordinate and put together perfect outfits. As you are picking out clothing for your family you can text me and I am happy to help! 

Sessions take place on-location in the Olathe area. The best lighting is within 30 minutes of sunrise, or 1-2 hours before sunset. I know the summer months can be tricky. Little ones tend to go to bed earlier than the sun does, but I promise you that one evening of breaking routine will be worth it! 

You have the option to add on a family film to your session and I HIGHLY recommend it! They are beautiful and emotive, and capture you just the way you are. Be sure to check my IG for samples of my film work.

BOOKING YOUR SESSION: It is best to book your session several months in advance. The fall months are extremely popular and book up very quickly. Once your session is booked we will talk location and wardrobe! All sessions take place in the Johnson County, KS area.

WHAT TO EXPECT: My hope is to provide a stress free experience for you, and of course, create beautiful images that you can treasure for eternity. Leading up to the session you will receive a prep packet to help you plan and style your session. I offer suggestions on what to wear and am happy to help as style the session! 

PROPS: I keep props very minimal for family sessions. I typically bring a blanket, stool or chair, and maybe a crate or ladder for little ones. Family photos are about connection and relationships and often times props can take away from capturing the emotion behind the image.
